At the opening bell

Stocks started the session lower today. S&P 500 shed 0.29% at 893.8. The main selling pressure is coming from the crude oil prices. It is now trading at $63.94 a barrel, lowest since May. Retailers helped the consumer discretionary sector move up to a 0.62% gain. Among the sectors of S&P, energy is the main laggard, down 2.17%. Rest of the sectors are trading with a mixed fashion.

There is almost no important economic news for today, in fact for the rest of the week. International trade data comes on Friday, which is going to move the markets. The volume is quite low at the stock exchange today. It is overall a choppy session so far.
